Yamaha has been making the Yamaha YZF R3 inline-twin sportbikes since 2015. It is a 321 cc (19.6 cuin) model. The R3 and R25 were the first Yamaha twins to feature an offset cylinder design.

The Yamaha R3 entry-level sports motorcycle is in the same price range as other 250-400cc motorcycles such as the Kawasaki Ninja 300, Honda CBR300R and KTM 390.

The engine is equipped with a downdraft fuel injection system and 10-spoke aluminum wheels. All-aluminum cylinders. The 2017 YZF R3 has optional ABS. The 2018 Model is EURO IV compliant and features dual-channel ABS.
