It’s unlike other 300cc enduro motorcycles since it only has about 40 HP. However, the broad torque curve makes the Beta XTrainer so good in the woods. The off-idle and mid-range torque allow you to easily use the clutchless, short-shift and get over logs and rocks.

There have been several small problems that Beta XTrainer motorcycle owners have had over the years. Most of them are just a small percentage of riders.

After doing my research, it appears that the most familiar problems with the Beta XTrainer are:

  • Kickstand foot is too small, causing it to sink in soft terrain
  • Carb float height is high on earlier model years (leaks gas)
  • The oil injection system may require tuning (the mixing ratio is off, causing the spark plug to foul)
