Honda PCX 150 Features

4-VALVE ENGINE

The engine of the Honda PCX is 156.9cc. This gives it plenty of power and acceleration. The eSP+ technology-enhanced smart power uses a four-valve design with a bore/stroke ratio specifically designed to reduce emissions and deliver responsive performance.

PGM FUEL INJECTION

The Honda PCX has liquid cooling and Programmed Fuel Injection (PGMFI), for outstanding performance in all traffic conditions. The PCX is also very fuel-efficient.

HYDRAULIC CAM-CHAIN ADJUSTER

The hydraulic cam-chain adjustment is completely automatic in the engine of the Honda PCX. This removes the need for routine maintenance. As a result, Honda engineers have made it even more convenient to own the PCX.

ROLLER BEARING CRANK

The PCX engine has special low-friction rolling bearings in its crankshaft to ensure smooth running and great mileage.

UNDER-SEAT STORAGE

You’ll be amazed at the amount of storage space available when you flip the seat open. It’s enough to store most full-face helmets and an entire evening’s groceries. In addition, the main compartment is lockable and weather-resistant. It has a capacity of 30 liters (roughly 8 gallons) and is large enough to be used every day.

EASY TO PARK

You have the option of a side stand or a center stand with the Honda PCX. This makes it simple to park the Honda PCX for quick trips to the store (the sides and) or keep it upright in tight spaces (the centerstand). Unfortunately, you can only choose one of the many scooters.

ELECTRIC START

Press the button, turn the key, and the fuel-injected engine of the Honda PCX starts up. It runs smoothly even in colder temperatures.

FRESH STYLE

The PCX offers world-class style and premium features. The Honda PCX has a premium appearance thanks to its large central LED headlight, integrated LED turn signals, and easy-to-read LCD instrumentation.

THE “X” FACTOR

The PCX’s “X-shaped” tail lamp is an excellent example. This lamp emits bright light and has an attractive design thanks to multi-optics technology.

CAPACITY OF FUEL

The PCX is extremely fuel-efficient. Its large, 2.1-gallon fuel tank allows you to go longer and ride further between refills.

OPTIONAL ABS

The PCX features our front-wheel Anti-LockBraking System (ABS), giving you the ability to make confident stops even under challenging conditions.

12-VOLT CHARGING POINT

The Honda PCX has an integrated USB-type socket within the fairing storage compartment. This makes it easy to charge your electronics while on the move.

FRAME

A solid chassis design is key to excellent handling. Our latest Honda PCX shines in this area. This Honda PCX uses a duplex cradle rather than the “underbone” design.

V-MATIC TRANSMISSION

The Honda V-Matic(tm), the automatic transmission, allows you to start the engine and turn the throttle. This means that there is no shifting. Instead, you can focus on the road ahead and have fun! In addition, you won’t feel the V-Matic shift between gears because it is continuously variable.

  1. PCX 150 Do I need a motorcycle license to operate this in Md? Tags? Insurance? Limits on what roads to drive on? I guess I can find out these answers on-line, it’s just too time consuming.

      • I have a Honda PCX 150. You do need a Motorcycle License. But, I added a Trike Assembly Kit to stabalize my bike. I can use my driver’s license and ride on the freeway with max speed of 60 mph. Any motorcycle with 3 or 4 wheels, doesn’t require a motorcycle license. It rides like a motorcycle, but I drive it like a car with 4 wheels. The trike is in the back so it rides like a motorcycle. I still have to lean and has excellent suspension that moves independently on both sides of the trike wheels. I love it! Yes you need to register it at the DMV for tags, and I use Allstate Insurance. Always keep your Registration and Proof of Insurance under the seat compartment. Also it has 2.1 gallon gas tank. 1 gallon gas is equall to 106 miles per gallon. So on a full tank, you can ride 212 miles before adding more case. Take a small fuel gas tank under your seat in case you get stuck somewhere. I was told to use middle or high grade gas instead of regular gas for better performance. Change oil regularly every 1000 miles and get a tune up every 3000 miles and your bike should be in excellent condition for many years to come. Good luck!
