Honda CTX700 DCT Specs

The power of Honda engineering is once more evident with the Honda CTX700 DCT model for 2017.

This bike is designed to make motorcycling more accessible, affordable and enjoyable than ever. With a seat height of 28.3 inches, the riders will quickly adjust to life on the seat.

Honda’s well-known automatic Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) offers a completely automatic mode or an active selection of gears using paddle-shift controls on the handlebar. Additionally, it is equipped with ABS and an Antilock Braking System (ABS).

The 670cc parallel-twin engine comes with cylinders tilted 62 degrees forward to provide better weight distribution and has a low center of gravity to handle easily.

The fuel-injected engine runs smoothly and delivers plenty of mid-range and low-end torque, making it easier to launch from stops.

There’s enough power to go in whatever direction the road takes you. Under the tank cover, there’s an area for a glove box that is handy where the fuel can be transported underneath. In all, it’s a great bike to have.

CTX700 DCT offers an incredibly inexpensive, enjoyable, friendly and comfortable bike that is perfect for daytime rides, weekend excursions for two-up touring, and everything else you can think up.

  1. Hello sir/madam, please I have a Honda CTX 1000.
When I first bought the bike, it used to behave as if it had a turbo charger. And by that I mean, when I open acceleration up to a certain lever , the engine sound suddenly changes to one that’s like an airplane that is about to take off, then the speed changes suddenly to about double or triple the normal speed. I do not know if that is turbo or not but it was a great feature of the bike I enjoyed .
However, lately, that particular feature is no more . The bike does not run like it used to. I have to open the accelerator fully and still that sound and speed I used to enjoy does not come anymore .
I have given it to many bike mechanics and electricians, they have tried all they could but I’m not getting that speed and sound again.
What could be the problem, please?
