They are located on major roads close to convenient amenities, Superchargers keep you charged even when you’re not at home. Just plug them into the outlet, charge and then leave.
S&P Global Mobility estimates that there are currently about 16.822 Tesla Superchargers, as well as Tesla destination chargers across the United States, along with 126,500 Level 2 and 20,431 Chargers with Level 3.

The president Joe Biden has pledged that the federal government will provide to install more than 500,000 charging stations. The four states that have the highest amount of EVs operating and the most registrations for new vehicles comprise California, Florida, Texas along with New York.
As each state takes an entirely different method of reducing emissions in that California, as well as New York, prioritize it and Florida and Texas do not. S&P Global Mobility attributes this increase due to the market size.
California is leading the charge in the lead, having more than 37% of the total electric vehicles in operation, and almost 36% of all US light-vehicle registrations for EVs starting from Jan to Sept 2022.
Florida is an insignificant second place with 7.4 percent of light-vehicle electric vehicle registrations, and 6.9 percent of EVs currently operating. Texas is ranked at 5.8 percent of EVs currently operating and 6.4 percent of EV light-vehicle registrations.
